Charity Abseil and Mountain Leader Assessment

Well myself and Cali (Our VW California) have been manic busy over the past 5 days. firstly we set off with a team of staff to run a charity abseil for Dell in Limerick raising money for Daffodil Day. The event went like clock work and thanks to great staff like Willie and Dave we got 60 people over the steep edge of our venue all raising money for Cancer research, a charity close to my heart! Then back to Dublin to drop staff and head straight to Donegal for an ML Assessment. The weather in Donegal was challenging with high winds and hail, driving rain and cold temperatures for this time of year. For the 2 night expedition I took my new Mountain Hardware Tangent 2 tent kindly supplied by Mountain Hardware. This tent has a new pole design and once I managed to peg it out on the wet and uneven ground it proved to be a fantastic tent in such conditions, although I would say I am sure it would have been happier on flatter ground. I am still searching for the perfect ML tent but this is pretty close for me. 20150327_111657[1] 20150330_100059[1] 20150329_185611[1]
