A classic day in the Reeks yesterday. Without doubt the best winter day i've ever had in Ireland. We headed off late from Cronins with 3 ice screws and a thin rack thinking nothing would be in nick and how wrong we were! Ended up climbing "The Lick" 400 Meters of amazing Ice, Névé and frozen turf. Finally reaching the summit with the best cloud inversion I have ever seen and a red glowing sunset. If Carlsberg did Winter Mountain Days...
