Multi-Pitch Climbing Skills Day

This Saturday saw me and 3 guys from the IMC (Irish Mountaineering Club) in Glendalough doing a Multi-Pitch skills course. The day started damp but we headed into the upper cliffs with a sense of optimism for better weather. It turned out to be a cracking day. We spent the morning looking at sling based anchor systems and rope management then headed up "Prelude Nightmare" and "Speirbhean" which has to be one of the best Vs4C combinations in the country and a truly stunning route which I never get bored of climbing! The guys took their new skills and put them into great practice! A very enjoyable day!
