Had a cracking 2 days guiding a small group in Kerry last week. On day 1 with amazing weather we headed across the Beenkeeragh Ridge to Carrauntoohil and down to just above the Devils Ladder where we bivvied under a cloudless sky. The next morning we walked across the Reeks Ridge as far as Kate Karneys Cottage in the Gap of Dunloe. I think this is the best 2 days walking to be had in the Irish hills
